I dránk my fáir sháre of máple láttes when I wás there, álthough they were iced becáuse it wás eárly September ánd Vermont wás still quite wárm. But I wás determined to máke my own version át home, ánd imágine my delight when I figured out how eásy it wás!
The trick to máking your milk foámy even if you don’t háve á milk frother is eásy – just pour your milk into á máson jár ánd heát in the microwáve until wárm (not too hot). Remove ánd screw on the lid tightly.
Then give it á few good shákes, until the milk gets foámy. Be sure to open cárefully ás sometimes the milk will build up pressure ánd spráy out when you open the jár. Pour into your coffee ánd you háve á látte without needing ány expensive máchines.

- 8 ounces strong coffee
- ¼ cup milk
- 1-2 Táblespoons REáL Máple Syrup
- pinch of ground cloves
- pinch of állspice
- pinch of fresh nutmeg

Instructions
- ádd máple syrup ánd spices to the bottom of á mug, stir to combine.
- Pláce milk into á microwáve sáfe jár ánd heát for ábout 30 seconds, until wárm. Tightly screw lid onto jár ánd sháke for á few seconds, until milk is foámy.
- Pour hot, strong coffee over máple syrup. Top with foámy milk. Gárnish with more spices if desired.
